This qualification is perfect for those who: • Are considering a career in education and training. • Already have a role in education and training but do not hold an equivalent or higher teaching qualification. • Are working as an assessor and wish to gain an introduction to teaching. Key Learning Objectives: • Legal and Professional Requirements: Understand the legal frameworks, responsibilities, and codes of practice in education. • Roles and Responsibilities: Grasp the roles, responsibilities, and relationships in education and training. • Inclusive Teaching: Learn inclusive teaching approaches and how to create a supportive learning environment. • Assessment Practices: Understand the principles and practices of assessment in education. • Planning and Delivering Education: Develop skills to plan, deliver, and evaluate teaching and learning sessions. Course Structure: • Guided Learning Hours: 48 hours • Total Qualification Time: 120 hours • Credit Value: 12 credits Entry Requirements: • Initial Assessment: All trainee teachers should undergo an initial assessment of skills in English, mathematics, and ICT. • Development Needs: Address any identified development needs based on initial assessments. Cancellation Policy

1. Course Registration: • Participants must register for courses through the BDG Training Consultancy website (bdgtrainingconsultancy.co.uk). • Full payment or a Purchase order (if applicable) must be made at the time of booking to secure a spot in the course. • Confirmation of booking will be sent via email once the registration and payment are completed. 2. Payment Methods: • We accept payments via credit/debit card, PayPal, bank transfer or Purchase Order • For bank transfers, payment must be received within 7 days of booking; otherwise, the reservation may be canceled. 3. Corporate Bookings: • Organisations wishing to book courses for multiple employees should contact BDG Training Consultancy directly for group rates and customised booking processes. • A purchase order or formal agreement may be required for corporate bookings. Cancellation Policy 1. Participant Cancellations: • Cancellations made more than 7 days before the course start date will receive a full refund minus a £50 administration fee. • Cancellations made between 7 to 14 days before the course start date will receive a 50% refund. • No refunds will be given for cancellations made less than 15 days before the course start date. • Participants may transfer their booking to another individual without incurring a fee, provided BDG Training Consultancy is notified at least 7 days before the course start date. 2. Course Cancellations by BDG Training Consultancy: • BDG Training Consultancy reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses if necessary. • In the event of a cancellation or reschedule by BDG Training Consultancy, participants will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to another course date. 3. Force Majeure: • BDG Training Consultancy is not liable for cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, acts of terrorism, or other unforeseen events (force majeure). • In such cases, BDG Training Consultancy will attempt to reschedule the course, and participants will be given the option to attend the rescheduled course or receive a full refund.
