Introduction
In England, Wales and Northern Ireland, there are eight different levels of education to help you begin studying. These are set out by something known as the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF). The RQF provides a formal way of structuring the different levels of education in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. BDG offers a suite of Active IQ Teacher Training, Assessment and Quality Assurance qualifications. Your requirements may differ dependent on your individual circumstances. We would advise discussing your circumstances and we can advise as to what you need in order to achieve your goals.
Assessment Qualifications
Active IQ is an awarding organisation recognised and regulated by Ofqual within the Active Leisure sector designing qualifications that support clear career pathways. BDG and Active IQ pride ourselves on excellent customer service, and strive to provide high quality resources for our qualifications enabling Learners to have a positive learning experience. All our qualifications form part of the Regulated Qualifications Frameworks [RQF] which means your course and your award is fully recognised in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Every unit and qualification in the RQF framework has a credit value based on the length of time it takes the average learner to complete the learning unit.
Assessor Qualifications
Assessors courses were formally known as the A1 Assessor are delivered on a one to one basis. They are often referred to as TAQA which is not a qualification in its own right. TAQA stands for Training, Assessing and Quality Assurance and is a collection of various assessor and quality assurance (IQA/IV) qualifications. These include the suite of qualifications set out below. There are initial one day workshops and then you will complete a Portolio of evidence. Your assessor will attend and observe you conducting your assessments. We would recommend speaking to us to discuss your existing environment and we can guide you as to the appropriate units to undertake. The CAVA Assessor qualifications are split into three units, you can choose to do either Unit 1 & 2 or Unit 1 & 3, but this depends on your requirements.
